The Culinary Arts Department has seven full scholarships made available by funds received from special events and fundraisers conducted by the students. A full-time scholarship is $1,200 for the year. Partial scholarships for $600 may also be available for finishing students and those attending on a reduced load schedule. All students that have successfully completed one full semester in the culinary program and that are in good academic standing with the college are eligible to apply for scholarship. The scholarship committee meets in March to review scholarship applications for the following year. Students interested will submit a 750 word typed essay with current GPA to be considered for Culinary Scholarships.

Jobs: Area restaurants and businesses often inquire about students being available for work. These notices are announced in classes and at ACF meetings. The culinary classroom SU-62 also has all announcements and job notices posted.

Scholarship Information: The college offers numerous opportunities for student assistance. Additionally, the Culinary Management Program provides scholarship assistance for qualified students. Application dates are announced in classes and posted in the classroom, SU-62.

The American Culinary Federation Education Institute is also a source of financial assistance through the Ray and Gertrude Marshall Scholarship Fund. Scholarship deadlines are February 15, June 15 and October 15.
